Scholarship/ Fee Concession Scheme at the time of Admission 2011-12

Merit Scholarship Scheme.

For Integrated /Graduate Courses (Marks obtained in qualifying exam)
Class XII (CBSE/ICE)	OR	Class XII (State Board)

For Post Graduate Courses (Marks obtained in qualifying exam) In Graduation

*10% course fee reimbursement is applicable to all Jain, Buddhist and Sikh candidates who do not meet the merit criteria but fulfill minimum (50% marks in qualifying exam) criteria. Fees will be reimbursed after submission of full annual fees.

Note: there is a further relaxation of 5% marks to girls students on scholarship/fee concession.

Fees reimbursement for the candidate belongs to same family & having Blood Relation:

Family means Father, Mother and Child(Max two).

25% of Course fee, subject to a maximum of INR 30,000/- only at the time of admission.

Criteria:

At the time of admission(both the candidates taking admission in the same Academic year either in the same or different courses): Above concession will be reimbursed after admission of both the candidates. Such concession will be extend only to the candidate paying the lowest course fees .Such refund will be initiated only after submission of full fees for the academic year by both the candidates.
For the existing student of MU(if their immediate relative takes fresh admission): Such refund will be initiated only after submission of full fees for the academic year by the candidate.

Scholarship/ Fee Concession Scheme during the Course/Programme at Mangalayatan University

The under mentioned scholarship and fee concessions are to be granted by the University in the subsequent years for the following categories of the students.

90% and Above                          100%
85% and Above                           50%
80% and Above                           25%

Fee Concession to Ward (s) of Armed /Paramilitary Forces, Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ward(s) of University employee and Physically impaired students:

Son/Daughter or Grandson/Grand daughter of Freedom Fighters – 20% concession in Course fee.
Son/Daughter of Armed/ Para-Military Forces – 20% concession in Course fee.
Student (s) having more than 50% Physical impairedness – 20% concession in Course fee.
Son/Daughter of University Employee – 50% concession in Course fee.
Spouse of the University Employee – 25% of Course fee.

Students of Mangalayatan University opting for admission for higher studies with MU would be permitted a further fee concession of 25% of Course fee subject to a maximum of INR 30,000/- at the time of admission.

Note:

The eligible students are required to apply for the above benefits in the prescribed format along with documentary evidence (s) within the dates prescribed by the University for the above purpose. Application received after the prescribed date will not be considered.
A student can opt for only one concession at a time from the University or any other body.
