Students of B.Ed and other teaching-related programs at Mangalayatan University (MU) are going to receive a major boost in their education experience. MU and 'Educomp Infrastructure and School Management Ltd. (Eduschools)' have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with each other, under which Eduschools will provide practical training to eligible students of the Institute of Education and Research studying in B. Ed (Innovative) and M. Ed (Innovative) programs. They will be trained on Eduschools’ cutting edge education technology platforms and granted opportunities to deliver their services in the large network of schools associated with Eduschools.

MU's Institute of Education and Research (MU IER) offers programs in B. Ed (Innovative) and M.Ed (Innovative), whereas Eduschools provides school infrastructure, management, learning systems and teacher training solutions to different schools all over India. As part of this collaboration Eduschools will provide inputs to enhance the curriculum of the programs at MU IER and help in making these programs contemporary. Teacher candidates graduating from these programs will meet the requirements of modern schools because of this advanced curriculum. Experts associated with Eduschools will train the faculty at MU IER in teaching the enhanced curriculum and also in the use of technology in teaching. Eduschools could provide further specialized services as needed to the Institute.

Given the large network of schools associated with Eduschools, it has a continual requirement of adequately qualified and certified teachers. To meet these requirements, Eduschools will recruit up to 100 graduates from the different programs at MU IER subject to these graduates clearing the eligibility requirements of Eduschools. Further, MU and Eduschools will offer distance education degree and diploma programs at the learning centers identified as per Eduschools’ convenience and commercial agreements.
