Students of Mangalayatan University (MU) will be serving in the country’s three Armed Forces. The Indian Navy & Air Force have agreed to recruit from MU and the Indian Army has initiated proceedings in the same regard.
Navy Officials will visit the MU Campus on 5th Sep 2011 to start the process of selecting students from Mangalayatan University (MU). An Official from the Air Force, Wing Commander Vikram Bakshi, Joint Director Air Force has informed MU that they will start the selection process in MU later in the year. The three Armed Forces hire a large number of officers and employees for their technical services and ground operations. Therefore there is a good opportunity for the students of MU studying in Engineering, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology and Biotechnology to join the Armed Forces.
According to Prof. H.S. Yadav, Director Training and Placement Cell, more than 70 companies visited the MU campus this year and more than 450 students of Mangalayatan University have been offered jobs by these companies. Many of students have been offered jobs by more than two companies.
