About course
The pursuit of excellence in professional education without adequate emphasis on moral and ethical education can lead to loss of human values in all spheres of life. There is a need to bring about a semblance of balance between professional and ethical education so that students coming out our educational system become responsible citizens of the world. Keeping this objective in mind, the Center of Philosophical Sciences has been established.
To start with, the Center will focus on Jain Philosophy. The goal is to make the Center at Mangalayatan University an international center of excellence in Jain Studies for imparting education and undertaking research. It aims at offering Certificate Course, Diploma Course, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Ph. D in Jain Philosophy.
Mangalayatan University has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Pandit Todarmal Smarak Trust, Jaipur and Teerthdham Mangalayatan, Aligarh. Both these institutions have rich experience in conducting Jain Education and Mangalayatan University will be benefitted from them. International School for Jain Studies, New Delhi will be associated with the program.
