Aligarh. Mangalayatan University held a felicitation ceremony for the winners of Talent Search Competition organised by the University. The main attraction of the ceremony was the honour to the student, Chanchal, who received a trophy, a citation letter and a Laptop as the award for attaining the overall highest position in the competition.
Chanchal, who passed 12th standard from G.S.T. Inter College (Mursan) Hathras with a high rank, has scored highest marks in the competition, where candidates from different districts participated including Aligarh, Hathras and Mathura. After receiving award from Dean, Humanities of the University Prof J. L. Jain and Director, Public Relations, Prof. Hemant Agrawal, she got overwhelmed and said that she had never dreamt of receiving this level of honour. In an answer to a question she expressed her aspiration to be an IAS Officer and serve the society.
Many other students, who scored good marks in the Talent Search Competition, were also awarded during the ceremony. Apart from the students, many teachers were also honoured for motivating the students.
In the event, Prof Jayanti Lal Jain urged the students not to leave values and ethics, no matter what career they opt. Prof. Hemant Agrawal, Director of Public Relation and Head of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication asked the students to set their aim and determine to reach the target. He said if you are self confident, then nothing is impossible for you.
Prior to the end of the Program many teachers and students expressed themselves on the stage and appreciated Mangalayatan University for organising this competition. They said that this step will create enthusiasm amongst the students in academic field.
