Engineering is a stream of education involving application of Science and Technology, and Mathematics to design, develop and maintain machines using innovative methods. Structures like software, hardware, systems & processes are also part of this. The field offers a wide range of career opportunities across all industries. It is one of the most sought-after courses pursued by students after completing Higher Secondary education, especially those from the Science stream.

According to AICTE statistics for year 2021-22, There are 5918 engineering and technology institutes in our country. The total intake of students is 23, 61,753 approx. Engineering is the third major stream with 37.70 lakh students enrolled every year at the undergraduate level.

Students planning to study Engineering in India can choose from almost 100 specializations, such as Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering being some of the most popular ones.

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology is the largest interdisciplinary element of Mangalayatan University. It endeavors to produce skilled professionals who are capable of meeting domestic and global challenges in the field of engineering, technology and management.

  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), levels.

A University Polytechnic has also been set-up offering Diploma programmes in various engineering disciplines.
