The School of Pharmacy was established in 2019, with the aim of providing quality education in the field of pharmacy. The School of Pharmacy offers D. Pharma and B. Pharma programs. The School of Pharmacy is committed to provide state of art facilities to the young pharmaceutical scientists to match the modern requirement of pharmacy industry. Our course curriculum and pedagogy contain learning of latest tools and techniques so that students can build a niche of their own in the scientific world. The school not only teaches the students but also grooms their personality through soft skill training and group discussions.
The School has state of the art laboratories and well qualified and experienced faculty members from reputed national and international institutions. The school encourages the students to attend national and international conferences to match the resent advances in pharmacy and also focuses on creating a strong research facility for its students and faculty members and to impart knowledge and excellence in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, to produce pharmaceuticals experts. The programs offered by School of Pharmacy are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The Department of Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Mangalayatan University, Aligarh started their journey in the year 2007. It is over the last 15 years, that our expertise and competence has grown in the core area of Biotechnology and Pharmacy. Biotechnology & Pharmacy is a popular career option. Biotechnology is the study of living organisms utilizing various biological systems, living organisms to create different products. An example of this is the preparation of yeast to produce desired products. Modern biotechnology encompasses diversified areas of Biomedical, Industrial and Environmental Sciences.
Pharmacy is the study of preparing and allocating medical drugs: including their design, manufacture and formulation into medicine and how they work on the body. Pharmacists are the vital members of the health care system providing vastly for the community.
Biotechnologists have detailed understanding of the scientific bases of diagnosis and therapy incurred by medicines. The courses also provide you with necessary skills needed. Qualifying as a Biotechnologist and Pharmacist confers upon you the opportunity to become a competent health care professional. The first batch of the department graduated in 2011. Biotechnology field itself is a specialized science stream leaning heavily towards biology as a technology stream. The department offers B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. & Ph.D. Programs in Biotechnology and has state-of-the-art laboratories and well qualified and experienced faculty members. The main focus of the department is to provide excellent teaching, training and research facilities for students.
The department is actively involved in organizing Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, trainings and awareness campaigns regularly. Students and Research Scholars have received several awards and recognitions and are life-time members of many reputed National and International Scientific and Medical bodies like ICMR, WHO, American society of Microbiology, Indian society of public health & hygiene and Indian Science Congress.
