The Virtual Lab is a cloud based simulation space, where participants can design, develop and test solutions for industry scale problems. The lab hosts a range of popular software tools that can simulate the complete spectrum of engineering processes to the accuracy and precision of real-life.

Basic Electrical Engineering Virtual Lab

An electrical engineer is someone who designs and develops new electrical systems solves problems and tests equipment. They study and apply the physics and mathematics of electricity, electromagnetism and electronics to both large and small scale systems to process information and transmit energy. An electric engineering Lab is composed of individual electrical components such as resistors, inductors, capacitors etc to trace the current that flows through it. The combination of electrical components can perform various simple and compound electrical operations.

Electrical Machine Virtual Lab

Electrical Machine Virtual Lab helps in understanding the implementation of various design process approach involves in all level of design, assembly, drafting and analysis of components to the real-world problems. Through the Electrical Machine Virtual Lab, participants can perform experiments such as; to perform load test on dc motors, Single phase transformer, three phase transformer, etc and assemblies with various design needs. Syllabus wise all experimental set ups are in fully serviceable condition. Are installed for performing experiments. Pc based automation technique adopted for control of machine. Software & hardware implementation for designing electrical system equipment’s (DC machine, Induction Machine, Single & three Phase transformer.

Digital Electronic Virtual Lab

Laboratory courses on hands-on experiments are integral parts of engineering education. The content of this website aims to provide a virtual laboratory platform for undergraduate Engineering students studying the course of Digital Electronic Circuits. Using this virtual laboratory platform, the students will be able to perform various experiments to supplement their theoretical understanding of digital electronics. The experiments designed will be two paced. For the relatively weaker students, it will dwell more on analysis part. For relatively stronger students, more challenging synthesis/design related experiments will be made available. However, since this will be a virtual laboratory, the more challenging design experiments can be taken up by the weaker students in summer or winter break.

Electronic Device and Circuit Virtual Lab

Electronic Device and Circuit offers intuitive design, simulation and system analysis functionalities in a versatile and user-friendly environment in electrical domain. It allows students to build their knowledge to diode, and transistor characteristics, design the biasing circuits like self biasing and design various amplifiers like CE, CC,CB for BJT.

The device which controls the flow of electrons is called electronic device. Electronics have various branches include, digital electronics, analog electronics, micro electronics, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, integrated circuit and semiconductor device.

Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation Virtual Lab

The purpose of this laboratory exercise is to acquaint you with basic scientific conventions for measuring electrical quantities and for analyzing the data obtained from those measurements. You will learn how to account for the experimental uncertainties that inevitably arise when using electrical instruments. You will learn the difference between uncertainties in measurement and uncertainties propagated through calculations. This lab is divided into two separate activities. In the first activity, you will calibrate a power supply by measuring the output voltage. In the second activity, you will use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance of a group of resistors and calculate the standard deviation. You will also measure the equivalent resistance of series and parallel combinations and compare them to the calculated value.

REMOTE LAB

Through the Remote lab, participants can perform controlled experiments from anywhere in the world. The IoT enabled lab equipments and the integrated remote access network makes this possible. The lab is open 24x7, 365 days. Remote Lab is one more attempt by the work integrated learning programs division of a Mangalayatan University Aligarh to bring the campus learning experience to the working professionals complementing their work-life-learning balance.

Electrical Machine-II LAB

To provide the students a chance to put theory into practice. To get familiar with DC machines, Transformers, synchronous machines and induction motors and give them experimental skills, calculate the various parameters and characteristics of the Electrical machine, understand the basic principles of operation of rotating electric machines, their classification, and basic efficiency and performance characteristic and to understand the operation and basic configuration of AC machines, including the synchronous motor and generator.
