Mangalayatan University and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate students to start their own business venture. Several steps including Incubation Cell at the University have been announced by the authority. This new initiative would provide ample opportunity from academic knowledge to technical and financial support to students for fulfilling their dreams.
Prof. S.C. Jain, Vice-Chancellor and T.S. Rajput, Deputy General Manager, NSIC signed the MoU in a simple ceremony organized by the University. Prof. Jain said that MoU will pave the way for numerous opportunities available at local level for the students. ‘The University is establishing Incubation Cell to promote the entrepreneurship among the students. Joint academic programs, Industrial training and programs for entrepreneurship will be organized by the NSIC for the University students. Successful students will get technical as well as financial support through different government schemes. NSIC will provide help through their technical expertise and government schemes’, he added.
Shri Rajput said that NSIC’s Technical Service Cell will help the students to identify the growing opportunities in different fields at the national level and will provide training along with Undergraduate and PG programs of the University.
