The main subjects included are Principles of Crop Production, Agricultural Economics, Soil Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agricultural Extension Plant Breeding and Genetics, and Agricultural Engineering.

It is a PG program where students can have multiple specializations such as entomology, agronomy, agriculture business management, agricultural economics, biotechnology, plant physiology, horticulture, etc. Field visit and practical sessions on the farm and lab work is also a part of the course. The students can be admitted either merit-wise or based on the entrance exam. In India, an autonomous body is responsible for coordinating agricultural education. It provides accreditation to agriculture universities, colleges, and programs.

  • The students must have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related fields.
  • The students must have obtained 50% marks in graduation.
  • The students must have cleared 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
