Advanced Diploma in Medical Lab Technology Admission 2024
DMLT admission is a specialized course in microbiology, clinical chemistry, hematology, molecular diagnostics or immunology. During dmlt course the students are able to learn about laboratory techniques, quality control measures, equipment operation, specimen collection along with its processing, analysis and interpretation along with laboratory management.
Upon completion of the dmlt program, graduates may find employment opportunities in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, research institutions, or public health agencies. They can work as medical laboratory technologists or technicians, performing tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Like other medical programs, practical experience through internships or clinical rotations is often an integral part of the curriculum to ensure students are prepared for the demands of the profession.
DMLT Course Eligibility Criteria
The students should have completed class 12 from a recognized board PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) including Mathematics.
- A minimum of 50% is required in class 12.
- Candidates need to clear exams and admissions are purely based on merit.
DMLT Course Duration
The DMLT paramedical course can be pursued for two years. It is divided into four semesters. The focus is advanced study of Laboratory Technology.
- Practical as well as theoretical training along with various workshops are conducted.
- Internship in hospitals and other private Testing laboratories can give a value exposure and technical experience to learn.
- The students need to complete their lab training, and internships at medical facility along with assignments, and presentations.
