About the Centre

There is a need to bring about a balance between professional and ethical education so that students coming out our educational system become responsible citizens of the world. Keeping this objective in mind, The Centre of Philosophical Sciences has been established. The Center is currently focusing on Jain Philosophy. The Centre offers Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Jain Philosophy. It provides intensive mentoring to our students both in and beyond the classroom in a wide variety of forums and organizes workshops, seminars and conferences, including major national or international events. It is currently headed by Professor Jayanti Lal Jain. Mangalayatan University has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with International School for Jain Studies, New Delhi, Pandit Todarmal Smarak Trust, Jaipur and Teerthdham Mangalayatan, Aligarh. These institutions have rich experience in conducting Jain Education and Mangalayatan University is benefited from them.
