About the Institute

The Department of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Forensic Science came into existence in 2007 itself with the establishment of the Mangalayatan University. All these departments were flourishing under the governance of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and they get merged into a single unit named Institute of Applied Sciences in 2015. The Institute offers three undergraduate (Honours) and three post-graduate programs in addition to doctoral programs in all the three streams. Besides nurturing the students of the institute's core programs, it offers the academic requisites (Theory and Practical facilities) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Forensic Science? for the students of various diploma and degree courses (Bachelor of Technology, Diploma in Engineering, B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy, B.Sc. in Agriculture, Teacher education Programs. etc.).

Institute has a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members, who became a part of the Institute after completing their doctoral degrees from renowned State & Central Universities and IITs’ with a dedication to reach this University at its zenith in the field of academics.
