B.Voc MLT is an undergraduate vocational degree program in India. The students get the knowledge and skills necessary to work as medical laboratory technologists. The healthcare sector is increasing, and to cope with the rapid growth, the industry requires skilled allied healthcare and medical employees. Medical lab staff falls under the category of allied healthcare workers. It is a full-time, undergraduate-level course. In the course, the students learn about Biochemistry, Pathology, Physiology, Microbiology, Medical lab procedures, Equipment, Instruments, Principles of lab management, Safety, Quality control, etc. The course includes both theoretical and practical training. The admissions can be based on either entrance exam or merit-based. The merit-based admissions are based on the score obtained in 10+2.
B.Voc Mlt Course Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed a 10+2 level examination (or equivalent) with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English
- A minimum of 50% is required in the last qualifying exam
- There is no specific age limit for admission in the B.Voc.(MLT) course
B.Voc Medical Laboratory Technology Course Duration:
Bvoc MLT paramedical course has a duration of 3 Years + 6 Month Internship. The students get the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a medical laboratory technologist.
